A new roof over an existing enclosed courtyard in coastal suburb City Beach. Inspiration was from Alvar Aalto's Maison Le Carre in the country side outside of Paris. A pavilion/verandah was created to rear with the left over skillion roof which allowed for the play of light from the east and west filtering into the space betwixt.
